22nd August – Temp Away

Woot!  Temp agencies took a few days to get going, but after a few stop/starts (including a big disappointment with a job I pursued independently), I’ve finally landed a 4 week contract with the Ministry of Business at the council.  It’s mostly data processing – something I can do in my sleep, and only had to beat out one other person for the job.  Worked out pretty well for me.

I’m basically reviewing an online database, checking for confidential information and removing it when found.  Every now and then I have some other office duties, but it’s mostly proof reading.  Not the hardest or most interesting occupation, but for $20 an hour I’m not complaining.

About Batale

I am an aspiring writer - though since I haven't written anything original in about 2 years, so calling me a writer is like calling a man who makes dinner every night a 5 star chef. I started this blog to force me to write. From the 1st January 2013, I intend to update this blog every day. If nothing interesting happens, I'll write about something that does interest me, whether that is a movie, a book, something I've heard about, or even some of my stories growing up.
